Alexandria House

NextGen Finance led a financial literacy workshop for teenagers ages 14–18 at Alexandria House, a transitional housing and support organization in Los Angeles. This workshop was led through their SUSLA program, a program dedicated to teach business skills. The workshop focused on practical, teen-centered financial skills, helping students make informed financial decisions.

Students explored topics including budgeting, saving, banking, investing, and retirement planning, with an introduction to long-term financial tools such as Roth IRAs and the importance of starting to invest early. To make the lesson interactive, students participated in activities and a financial literacy Jeopardy game.
